Hey guys managed to stuff my motor today on the sand dunes and now i need another, pref with loom and computer.

Ive got one that has supposidly done 200ish k's and has done a head gasket on one bank

would it not be worth getting yours stripped and all the neccessary bits rebuilt/replaced? that way you know its good, never know what your getting with 2nd hand motors, otherwise theres a crowd on trademe, selling em starting at $450 i think, but the more you spend the more of a warrnty you get

Not for me cause the cost of getting it fixed will be over double what i can get a motor for and can't afford that right now. saw those ones on trademe, and asked if they could get a series one and just waiting for reply. and plus with new bits i would be afraid of thrashing it which i love doing and cant have that now.
