gidday dave a,

get yourself some grand vitara diesel 5 door springs for a 2 inch suspension lift, nissan laurel rear springs work in the rear too. they all just drop in, no mods required.

as for a body lift, give DERANGED on ORE a PM, or look up his profile and give him a call. he makes bodylift kits and trust me, they are 100 times better than a calmini one :?

i got my rims through beaurepairs, but i run 7" rims with my 31's as the suzuki isnt heavy enough to make mud tyres 'bag' properly. the slightly narrower rim helps this. make sure the offset is at least -15 or the tyres will rub on the chassis.

you will need to do a bit of guard trimming too, but thats an easy enough job (ask heath  ).

hope this helps

The grand vitara rears I tried have a smaller first coil than the vits so didnt fit over the bump stop but if the larel springs fit they may be just the thing.

From the multitude of websites and reveiws I have read, bang for buck OME are the best front struts. If staying std there are strut mount flips, spacers, blocks for springs, spring swaps from other models, etc (look up bits 4 vits as an idea of what is avaliable - its a uk site but still good for ideas). do a search on here for springs etc and read it all. Was a thread some time ago that talked about cheap lifts for vitara's.

Oh if doing a guard cut use a plasma cutter - much easier than by hand with shears... :x
