Great little truck,i had one for over 7 years, thrashed the shit out of it [ it's still going strong i think ]i highly modified mine,ARB Lockers, lifted etc etc,it gave a lot of the bigger trucks a bit of a fright..My opinion only the 1995 MU's are the best of the bunch ..only sold mine as i needed something bigger to tow a 25ft caravan

They are great trucks but do get a bad rep for some reason. The 3.1 is great engine and is very reliable provided it is well maintained. The 3.1 manuals are quite rare as well and really haul ass. They have a 83l tank and the best I could get out of it with my auto was 750km.

Great trucks on road (mine used to get 700+kms per tank), and despite their small size they can carry a lot with rear seat down, rear seat to high for adults - no head room. Go well off road, can get auto front lockers and good for just two people. Known for blowing front cv's off road, personally after having an mu and a zuk, I would recommend a suzuki vitara 3 or 5 door or if you need a diesel then go for bighorn, surf or similar.
