Drive it and see if you are happy, if you are auto you can go to 4.88 or 5.29's if you need but if you are manual it would depend on your driving style if you can go to different ratio's without breaking (the auto takes a lot of the shock load out as does the right foot effect) you may get better economy but the the old supra conversions I saw stayed on the 4.5 ratios and only changed when going larger.

Of the 2jz conversions I have seen 2 are on 5.29's diff ratio and one 4.5 and soon changing because of economy all are running 35" or larger tyres if it was me I would look at where you want to go and if going larger later on wait till you run 35's but I don't have a 2jz so this info is not based on what the engine can do, where in rev's it drives best or has the best economy you may be in 5th a lot and not use first gear.

My engine is smaller and has a lot less power this is why I chose the 4.88 the 2jz can spin 33's at the 4.5 ratio without being too thirsty or lacking power but that depends on the rev's and how hard you push it if you tow and a few other driving habits.
Legal disclaimer: Any information I may have provided is worth exactly what you paid me for it.
