Suzuki front diff torque settings.

Post by ONOescudo »

Hi all.
Going to replace the old broken crown wheel and pinion in my Escudo front diff. (well the man at the garage is).
We need:
 Back lash.
 Pinion torque.
 Crown wheel bolts torque.
Also replacing bearings and seals and crush spacer.

Have just spent $25 on an online workshop manual at www.tradebit.com “ 1996-1998 SUZUKI SIDEKICK & GEO TRECKER SERVICE MANUAL” and for my wagon it is useless.
Have also done quite a bit of searching.
Any help on these specs would be great.

dont forget they are from a sammy carrier and not the vitara one so they may be less as it is ali not steel !!

Check with Suzuki dealer or whatever for figures.

preload setting for the front and rear diffs in a 92 escudo 9-17 kg/cm
