Hi all looking for some advice - seen a hilux 4runner i like the look of:
1990 nz new
3 owners
206km
2.4 petrol
$3000 or neer offer

Tidy truck, is that how much you would pay? seen one on TM go for $2600 very similar. Any issues with these engines? not prone to blowing up like the diesel imports? do they have a cambelt? is 200km getting on a bit? what is the fuel comsumption like? - i know it wont be good, but similar cost to a diesel after you add in road tax, deerer rego etc.

Cheers, any quick advice would be greatly appreciated!

Tomo.

very reliable, easy to work on, beter then the 2.4 deisels, are a bit hard on gas but like you say, no road tax etc, and ya cant beat nz made ova jap import, my opinion tho, standard ks i rekon and if its in good all round condition thats a fair price
