well lets see now.
Wednesday i get txt saying wife drove truck into carport, ok didnt sound to bad. got home to find front bumper coner hang off and a nice chunk out of a support pole for the carport.
Changed the studs on thursday but found the wheel studs holes are a little worn ( slogged out )
so its time to start thinking about the front bar.
Now i need to find someone that can help with a bender and welder o and someone that can get a good price for some tube.

Got the rebuilt diff and brakes together and into the samurai for Glenn, but hit a STUPID snarl up. I haven't got any way of getting the 90-weight oil into the diff. It won't trickle through the tube I have so I have to wait to borrow a pressure pump. Bugger!

my backs puckered from doing tyres for 10 years, so I suppose a move to batteries is not good. but hey if ya need a pack hauler, I could be there for ya, been years since a good trek in the bush.

Tape some hose tube on the end of a plastic 1ltr coke bottle, fill with oil and just squeeze the bottle to make the oil go up the tube into the diff.

Driving a winch challenge is light duties? Sweet, If i ever bugger my back again i'll grab your doctors name!!
Opened the rear tailgate of the Wifes TJ on saturday, and it inexplicably exploded, and landed on my head. Bloody lucky i had the window tint on it holding it together or things might well have been ugly.
Great service from Smith & Smith. Within half an hour I had the back temporarily sealed and a replacement window has been ordered.

Tape some hose tube on the end of a plastic 1ltr coke bottle, fill with oil and just squeeze the bottle to make the oil go up the tube into the diff.
The other option here is that fizzy drink bottles are recognised pressure containers. If you can seal the hose onto the cap well enough, and fit a tyre valve stem to the bottle, you can pressurise the bottle with compressed air which will make the oil flow.
I found an old pressure cooker and use that as a pressure pump for diff 90 weight oils.

I used to use a coke bottle with a pump bottle lid. take the sliding part off the pump lid, cut the 'Tit" out of the top and put some clear hose over it with a hose clamp. its a real slow way of doing it but it works. I bought a hand pump / suction pump from a rep visiting work for that stuff now.

Any ways pulled the cluch that was compleatly f@#cked so changed that arround.
