Thousands of Disco parts

I have a shed full of 1998 disco spares and they could well go cheap to clear the space. These were all leftover spares for my now ex Bowler as well as other bits I accumulated over time, including a 1998 complete chassis I bought once with all the running gear in it still - apparently only 44000kms and it looks like it. I can't even remember what i needed when i bought it but i can remember it cost me $5000 by the time I freighted it here.
So I have a complete 3.9V8 Engine with Tcase and HP22 ZF out of the chassis and on the floor and all it needs is an ECU. The loom was cut at the body unfortunately. Most stuff, like coils, shocks, wheels & tyres, radiator, oil cooler, axles etc. are still on the chassis. I know I have one diff head out of it still left and in good nick but the other might have been used.
Also have an either new or rebuilt and never run Short block for a 3.5V8, this was a spare competition motor for the Bowler and apparently has some very good kit in it, built up in the UK. Also have boxes of 3.5V8 complete heads, a couple of stripped down 3.5s maybe one, not sure, a steering box, a stripped HP22 which is in excellent condition but was stripped due to water contamination while in storage and never reassembled, Tie rods, rod ends, knuckle housings, exhaust manifolds I've seen, probably SD1, driveshafts, and some new bits for general Land rovers like light lenses and things.
Someone might want to make me a bulk offer on the whole lot if spares are your business - or could be after you buy this lot - and I might sell stuff off separately but the service would be lousy.
Who knows what people need until you ask? cheers

Hi Gordon, what would you be after for the 3.9?
Cheers,
Hugo.

Not sure Hugo, its a full set on the garage floor and includes HP22 transmission and transfer case, drive shafts, etc. It would wake the old RR up for certain. Also have the radiator, oil cooler, and hand brake! Make me an offer I can't refuse? cheers, g

Ha, well my wife could certainly refuse!
Would be just after the 3.9 motor - give me a ball park you're after?

Sorry Hugo, what use would a transmission and transfer case be to me without an engine? At the moment I can always dream of putting them all in something one day. Gordon

I've still got that 3.5L unused rebuilt competition shortblock though Hugo and a sack full of heads and other ancillaries, if yours is a bit sad this should also wake it up and be a cheaper alternative maybe.

Do you realise I'll sell the lot for $2k Hugo, you have to take very bit though! Enough to build up a few runners, yours would be a good home too. The whole lot probably cost squillions to collect up but I'm after the space in the sheds.

Thanks Gordon - was looking at a 3.9 block and getting a stroker kit (to make a 4.8L) out of the UK. The 3.5 I have just now has a stump-puller cam that I did recently, so isn't weak, was just thinking bigger! To do the stroker kit, you need a 3.9 block to start with.

You don't need a good low Km engine like this then Hugo, it would be a waste of fine British engineering and design!

Ha Ha, very true! Thanks Gordon, will keep your offer in mind - looks like I need another stint offshore to get some more pennies saved up!

Gordon,
Does the 3.9 V8 have a serpentine belt front end or the older style mix of belts? Any chance of a look?
Cheers,
Hugo.

Yes, monday's good, phone first because I just chopped through the internet cable running to the house with a weed eater and won't see this unless I go to the office!

Hey Gordon,
After some research with the guys back home, I can use the engine, but will have to put my inlet manifold, front cover (multi-belts) and EFi gear on it - the plenum etc is all different. Not sure about the gearbox - did you sell the transfer box off it?
Let me know if that interests you and if you have a price if you want to shift it?
Cheers,
Hugo.
