Bearings
G'day. I'm needing to change my left rear wheel bearing in my 1990 feroza. Has anyone done this job and is it possible just to do it myself????

gdday southland_feroza
Sorry cant help you on the rear wheel bearings, never had to do one while i owned my Fez, however if you have a basic set of tools (ring open end spanners and sockets) i cant see why not, most of the stuff i DID do on the feroza was reasonably straight forward
If you havnt downloaded it already grab the Feroza Service Manuals off the Warfs site
http://www.warfs.org/content/view/16/47/
these will give you all the info you will need on these little beasties.
just as a matter of interest what sort of symptoms does yours have?? is it rumbling or making funny noises?? only reason I ask is I do know that it's not uncommon for the Feroza to have a little bit of end play (able to grab the rear wheel and move it in and out a few mm, I thought my bearing where gone when i saw that but was told that they where fine and my mates one had about the same amount of slop???
drove it around for another 40000k's before i sold it and didnt make any funny noises or have the wheel fall off or anything else just the end play.
