Over the years the only accidents I have ever had involve snatch straps.

I use 24mm nylon rope and never have a problem . Recovery is so easy.

that really shows people the force in one of those snatch straps when it brake will hopefully keep people more aware not to even attempt to use a statch strap that is damage in any way.
