Shame the TJ auto doesn't fit the XJ; I know someone who needs an XJ auto and it would make room for a nice manual in the TJ
I was looking at it again just now as it looks like I might, if all goes well, have 2 people fighting over the Mini. I just couldn't settle for a 3 speed auto when there is a 5 speed manual version to be had though.

Good stuff XJ. I've seen another version that creates an enclosed box when closed and opens up to a large 'tool kit' mounted inside which looked very handy.
Great to use what space is available and the tailgate should shelter the cooker from the wind too

I varnished mine for easy cleaning also put heat shrink over the chain to stop it from rattling

friken nice setup there...
still not sure weather to do this to mine in the boot area only and leave the back seats in place... or do it to the whole rear area and keep it a 2 seater, that way can sleep in back...

Cheers J_Dub

You could alsays keep the rear seats and have a sliding top board so when you fold the seats down you can slide it out to make a bed

if I had a long wheel base rig thats what I would do
