Was after some thoughts on I would be better off wrecking or selling complete an 89 Safari auto SWB. Its pretty standard its has 2" body lift and stock suspension. 31" tyres and snorkel. Body is reasonable with some rust repairs having being done to gutter area on one one side.Runs well and I believe auto has been recon by previous owner but have no receipts to prove it. Truck has rego on hold but can be reg and WOF'd for sale. Its stored in my shed and am trying to encourage the owner to move it as I need the space.
your best bet is to go on trade me and type in what year model etc it is in the serch menu then see what people are asking then look at ones that have alot of interest in them as some people just put a large price for their truck but it will never sell for that price. should give you an idea, if you sell for parts the diffs are well sortafter so no probs there safaris are generaly strong as so most people want the parts.if all else fails just use the truck as an anchor
Thanks all - It looks as though it won't be hard to move as parts - i will be off on holiday in a couple of days so will either start wrecking or sell as a runner when i get back in early February.
Trying to get a little more than a grand ! I am off on Holiday now so will make decision when I get back early Feb. Will answer questions and PM's then.
