hey guys well after a few months of tring to get registered then gaining some help from a moderator im here
hey im wayne
live in hams and have a singlecab beam 83 hilux
just finished putting a new roof on it and hopfully afer this weekend it will have some paint on it to
pritty much turned from a engine conversion to a ground up rebuild... hate that

just need to get some lockers in there a winch and keen to get some mud on it

first time ive built a 4wd but its been fun
must say though .. i like the way it look ATM just gutted i cant get it certed with no doors and guards

i have been told i have to go do a 4wd saftey couse or something ??

welcome to ORE!!! there are 4wd courses organised and run thru here, there is possibly going to be one in march down welly if your keen to travel ( which you should cause its the best part of ORE, meeting likeminded people all over the country!!!)

might have to get some road tyres for it if im gunna that sort of km's
+ perants live in levin and have a few mates in palmy too

if i can get it certed by then ill be keen
need to get another manuel hub for the front as well .. ive got one manuel and one brocked auto hub..lol
and the rear lsd is not very lsd lol so ATM shes a one wheel drive

There is a guy in Palmy that does lots of hilux bits. Trademe name is norris9, im sure he had FWH forsale

ive also built a deck for it and the deck itself is 5mm treadplate
tring to get a bit more weight over the rear wheels

yeap i am , joined back in the days when i was looking for a first car and really wanted a aw11 ended up getting a celica, tho my username is sprey16 on there i dont post much but visit it every now and then.

right taking the truck down to the workshop tonight for final sand and painting :d

well prped the body and painted the guards and interiour ... and yes i did just finish
should have the body painted tomorrow .. only leaving the doors

outside and inside cab and inside of doors is done as is front guards
just need to doo the bonnet top and do0r outers and were home and hosed

I'm always keen for a BBQ, lets tee one up at our pad one weekend soon and go get stuck and test some winches as entertainment for a laugh.

Maybe the weekend of the 15th and 16th or the 22nd and 23rd??? (rest are busy with events and work stuff)
