terrano 2inch torsion lift

might be getting a free/ cheap v6 manual terrano.
they seem to be ok vehicles just sucks that they have ifs. is there any other mods id have to perform to the front end/ steering if i was to lift the front by 2" or so?? will the cv joints last?

You can buy a bolt in (almost ) kit from the US that will give you 4" of lift and 11.5" of travel. Complete new arms and half shafts but the same CV and uses factory mounting point but goes to coil over instead of torsion bar! $3500 US though and without coilovers!
2" lift should be OK but will lift down travel so will cause you to lift a wheel more often. Ball joints will wear out faster and you'll wear out CV boots quicker but it is all relative. A mate has do this and the biggest problem is the steering. He runs 32 Simex on his and gives it shite alot. ie has just had to replace the motor due to a slight problem with valves and pistons. They touched due to breaking cam belt!
