New driver's door fitted - now electric windows don't go!!

As stated above. Dammit! If it's not one thing it's another. Some b*stard came round the corner and managed to stop on my drivers door so I've had to replace it. Sourced a new (2nd hand) shell from Wgtn Van, Ute and 4x4 dismantlers, dutifully plugged it in fitted the window and bolted in place. Now the windows everywhere else in the 'lux don't go! I supppose I just need to go back and start working my way through making sure the damn thing is plugged in right - or something else? Have I been sold a pup? Anyone have any thoughts on how to rectify this?

The wiring loom came with the door. I've been told that the contacts in them sometimes fall apart? What's involved in replacing them/it?

first check wiring and all plug surf are bad for broken hinge wires if not check fuses and plug the origanal window switch that was in the old door if you still get nothing pull switch apart over a peace of news paper and clean contacts hard to xplane how switch works but you will c once its apart pritty stright ford
