Hi All, :D

I got stuck in a river, About a metre of water for about a half of an hour before I got my self out,

I drained both diff's as both had water in them , The rear LSD used to work realy good, It's been a week of driving about and still the LSD is not working, I checked the oil slighty milky so I put new LSD oil in again today ,, How long should I wait before it starts working again.

When I bought the Nissan the LSD did not work and I had to put engine oil cleaner in the diff, Started working great after about 500k's, I was wonding if I should the same ????? :?

you have to be carefull with clutch packs and water... they use a water based glue to hold the friction material onto the backing plates
used to have major issues with the submarine cars i used to fix with the tran's full of water
were fine as long as they were properly drained and new oil put in them ...

did you flush it out ??

   bahahaha sounded like me last friday night at work, had this real tight bearing on a huge auger from the boiler trying to remove it. applied a load of pressure with some bearing pullers loads of crc, then my boss comes along and says lets all go have a beer and hope it comes off by itself over the weekend.

as for the lsd, sounds like the clutches maybe had it. although maybe rinse it thoroughly and drive it for a bit, see what happens
