Woohoo, I get to start again, replacement panhard bushes have arrived so heading off to pick these up now, then need to fit and then take to Rob's to check the alignment in prep for the trip this weekend.

As always Jerry, premature, its not even the weekend!
Anyway, I got my radiator back for the GQ today, so will flush the engine and throw it back in, and get the oils/filters changed.

Well I finally did something 4wd related , drove 4 odd hours and picked up Nutta's LJ50 as its now mine

, another 4 1/2 hrs home
Just to be spitefull it would not start once home so it had to sit on the trailer outside for the night , that will teach it . After scraping out the mud that was more than a few inches deep in the foot wells , seeing the kiwi shella's beat the aussies in the beach volley ball

I thought I should see if I could get it running . So sfter re-seting the points , pulling plugs etc and a little help from the can of engine start it roared into life , well as much as a two stroke can roar .
Had to pull the front drive shaft as the wheels were binding on the pavement for some reason , but after that it got the blat down the road . Had to be a bit careful as there was an open home a few doors down , not really a good look for a prospetive buyer , seeing a smokey Lj bussing down the road with no door .
Will slowly try and get it running a bit better and then decide what to do with it .
Cheers
Chris

Dam stock mudflaps knew id break them off sooner or later, there the ones that are thick rubber and dont bend.
