Hi everyone can any of you offer me any advice with regard to fitting some coil spacers in the rear of my 1992 5dr terrano plz.
Just looking to achieve a little cheap lift in the rear for when I fill up with fishing gear for a trip away.
Does anyone know who I could get some from or any down falls or problems encountered in going this way?
thanx

try craig at genie 4x4 in wanganui(genie4x4.com)
i know he does 15m.m and 30 m.m spacers for gu/gq patrols but wether the coils are the same as a terrano i could not tell ya

try diesel boy if any one he will know
my mate had the same prob with his surf trying to find some................................so i used his top rubber coil seat as a template, and made some on the lathe out of alloy plate.
THERES NO SUCH THING AS CANT IN THE SOUTH

Gq coils are twice the size of the Terrano ones, Surf coils are slightly larger than Terrano coils (recently tried to put some Terrano coils in a Surf LOL).
Email Craig at Genie as EF said, he's very approachable, and you won't know till you try!!
Failing that, they are easy to make, or to get made, all you need is internal and external diameters and the thickness you require, cruise into an engineering shop and they'l spin you up a couple out of aluminium or nylon or something similar.
Now i'm wondering weather the front GQ springs are actually larger though. I have both Terrano and GQ springs sitting round at home, so i'll have a measure up.
On the other hand again, if the spacers Supralux can get are Surf compatible, and the Terrano springs very nearly fit the Surf, you may get away with those.
Dimensions of the spacers please Surpalux, and i will compare to the coils i have sitting at home.

Just made a call to check, and they are 80-series not surf sized, and they are 10mm only... they're for leveling the trucks not lifting.
Damn stupid brain... think I must be wearing it out... gonna switch it off now

Save it for old age.
Give Craig a try at Genie... I'm looking for alternatives but haven't found anything yet.
Cheers

Hahaha... the EF spell, grammer and "did-you-bloody-rear-wot-I-wrote" checker is in full swing
Yeah, they are for 80's not surfs, and at this point there aren't any in the country... so I can't even do that for ya... sorry.
