theres a grove in the end of the axle with a little wire circlip holding it onto the cv, you should be able to knock the cv off with a bit of wood and a hammer

another way is to get a piece of pipe that fits nicely over the axle and use it like a slide hammer (careful not to damage seal surface on axle), will then pop of the circlip mentioned

Normally will pop off with a wack with a hammer but if stubborn lock axle in vice and give the CV a good wack with copper hammer or similar, if it does not move hit it harder and harder

Stupid hubs! I put it all back together and found i had missed a washer

. forgot to put the thrust washer on and looked at the bottom of the box when i had finished and thought hmm that looks important

. Too late to be bothered taking it back off again so will have to do it tomorrow.
And the cv is being very stubborn, will have to take it to someone's place who has a vice so i can get the bugger out.
Was hoping to use the truck tomorrow morning but stupid work got in the way of me doing the hubs during the week.
