Trailing arm bushings

hey all, does anyone know how to remove the trailing / control arm bushings from an escudo???

Don't know for sure as I haven't replaced mine, but from my memory of how they looked when the control-arms were out, I would guess you have to punch out the centre tube before forcing out the bushes.
'89 3-Dr scud. 2" body lift, 2" suspension, Snorkel, 31x10.5's, Evil-daughter chose the paint-job.

I would guess with great difficulty . You would need a press at a guess , to press it out . may be easier to get more arms from a wrecker . Cheap and easy to get from a pick a part .

then they come out easy, and the next mission begins..............

i was considering using the same bushings for my new arms for my hilux diffs or this this not a good idea?
