Yeehah!! New truck

Post by lneil »

But unfortunately not mine. Went out tonight and help a couple of good friends buy their first 4WD, a '91 Samurai rag-top. It's factory original, no rust I could find and the motor runs and sounds sweet as a nut.

Now I just have to get them on to ORE so they can figure out what to do and who to ask for help, 'cos I'm bl***y useless!

No idea what it'll turn into, or how long it will take, but this is what it looks like now.

What really fizzes me up is that they only decided to get one after coming on the Mackley trip with me, I really do get a buzz out of sharing the fun of 4WDing with people who catch the bug.

Saw that in Richmond yesterday, very tidy looking Suzi.
I have spent too many hours under them when Tash had her ones.

Very tidy looking wee truck.

Wonder if my paint ever looked that good.

Loose the front bumper and mounts ,loose the sway bars, Get some soft 2inch lift springs, throw on some 30x9.5 muds , bash all the seems on the inner guards flat and she will go just about every where that the big heavily modded trucks will go.

Known for rust in the rear corners behind the cards, between the front guards and firewall (especially on drivers side below battery) , behind the stupid plastic/rubber rocker panel guards, under the fold down windscreen and in the floor pans.

Would highly recommend some type of roll over protection as after seeing my one in pieces there is sweet FA to stop the roof collapsing.
