Electric GQ windows - parts needed + advice.

Post by flyingbrick »

getting sick of these little issues

My left hand side window has been wedged in with bits of wood since buying the car due to regulator issues- I have only just last week found and collected the parts to repair it... and now today my right had side window has started clicking and buzzing and will not raise itself without assistance. I'm assuming its stripped out that little shitty nylon sacrificial gear.

It seems pretty common- the P/O mentioned when i bought the car that he had already replaced this gear once. I have phoned nissan in hamilton and they had no idea what i was talking about and the parts man thinks the plastic gear comes with the motor/gearbox assembly when you buy that.

Anyone ever found a source for them seperately?

Does anyone have some manual window winders laying around that i can pinch? This electric stuff just seems way too sophisticated for the patrols own good
phone Ross Bolus (secretary of the BOP club) He'll save you.
