2000 model nissan terrano.. where the F is the thermostat

were the hells the thermostat on these ZD30 engines.

I cannot find it for the life of me.

should be where the bottom radiator hose enters the block

Maybe im having a real bloody dull moment.. but im quite sure every other engine including my 4.2 which ive worked on has had the thermostat on upper water EXIT housing.
Dammit all to hell.. means im gonna have to pull all those skid plates off.

ive heard of a couple of nissan motors that have the thermostat on the cold (bottom) hose. dont know the reasoning behind that

heaps of them have thermostats on the bottom hose all the rb series e.t.c . got to love the japs ay always changing shit around
