350 chev alternator problem

Post by philux »

Right ive got this problem of the battery on the boat not charging, alternator got 3 terminals. big one straight to battery (charge wire) then the other two one gets power from the ignition through the charge light then to the terminal on top of the alternator and the other wire gets constant power..right? cant seem to get the charge light to go out and the voltage is only 12.2 or so. not charging. starting to do my head in a bit :?
