1600cc Exhast

Post by suzjoy »

I have a sj413 samurai, with a G16b 1600cc motor in it. I have a calmini muffler with cobby extractors, joined together with 2" exhast pipe. Used to have a turbo resonator with the 1300cc motor, but it would not fit in when the G16b motor went in. The extractors were to long, so they put in a small cylinder shaped one in instead. The truck is not road legal, so sound is not a problem. Although I don't want to have to wear ear muffs either!! :D I'm thinking of taking out the small cylinder shaped thing. Maybe it will go better? Any comments welcome.

Shouldn't be a problem at all.

I run Escudos with the G16A, extractors and single rear muffler, they're almost too quiet! I'd try it with just the calmini rear if I was you, I suspect you'll be happy with it. It'll probably have just a mild bark to it.
