Hi Mate dont know much about these other than the seller of these is one of the major sponsers for the norwest club class comp ,we had a couple of trucks up running the tracks as i wanted to put trucks through with off the shelf low mount winches, one was on a Safari and one on a 70 series cruiser they both completed the stages without any problems ..steve

Heya Dan.
This is purely my opinion based on my experience but:
My Safari came with the factory spec Warn winch- Its 18 years old and sounded pretty much like it was full of gravel + the free spool was seized. Took SFA time to take it off the truck and then strip down and clean out the gearbox/motor and reassemble (a little more complex than that.. but not much). Looks like they were designed with disassembly and self-service in mind. It now works as new

Might be worth you considering tbh- I have no experience at all with the chinese winches but if you are smart you could end up with something better (?) and cheaper.
