Brake pads

Post by fweddy »

Any one had any experience with Silverline pads, good, bad, otherwise?
http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=206238970

How good are Bendix or Lucas pads in comparison?

Or do you go genuine, and if so are they superior?
Sold my 1985, BJ74 MWB Landcruiser, rear locker, 33" MTs, snorkel, PTO winch, solid bars all round, spotties, AM CB etc.
Now just a 1994, 1kz Surf, pretty standard.

Ferodos can get at supercheap, I hated silverline always noisy and did'nt stop that well. Much prefer ferrodo out of the cheap ones, I noticed a difference between there 4wd series and normal ones. They held better(4wd) on steep hills did'nt creek and moan like the others. Thats a good price for bendix I got quoted $120, thats my 2 cents
GU patrol 35s ect.
