is there any sort of additive i can add to my engine oil to cure noisy lifters?? i remember there was a product available but dont no the name of itt

You can buy Nulon products thats are supposed to reduce lifter noise from repco and supercheap.

I heard these engines have problems from time to time with lifters failing and then damaging the cam as a result. Whats causing the noise? Could it be a lifter on the way out? May pay to check...
