1986 Suzuki SJ413 - highly modified for offroad use.
* New 2 inch lifted maxitrack springs
* Nolethane bushes
* Extended shackles
* 5 x 32-9.5-15 Simex Extreme Trekkers, all in great condition, with 80% tread remaining
* White steel rims, reset with a huge offset
* tractor tubes fitted to allow very low tyre pressure
* Extractors
* 2 inch exhaust
* Rockhopper transfer case (very low gears, excellent off road)
* 4 wheel disc brake conversion
* 6 point roll cage, professionally built.
* Wrx reclinable bucket seats
* 5 point racing harnesses
* Power steering added
* Locked rear diff
* 8000 pound winch with in-vehicle controls (currently stuck in free spool)
* Dual Batteries
* Tow hooks, front and rear
* Rego on hold, 180000kms, NZ new
New plugs, oil, filter, both front wheel bearings, and brakes pads (front, rear, and handbrake) replaced recently.
Clutch removed and inspected recently.
The combination of many hours of work, and many thousands of dollars has created an excellent offroad machine.
The lift, and 32-inch Simex tyres (very rare on a Suzuki) give the 4wd huge ground clearance, making it excellent in the mud and hill climbing. The large offset rims make it more stable, the 4-wheel disc brakes, bucket seats, harnesses, and roll cage add to the safety of this vehicle. This combination of safety modifications means you can drive offroad knowing you have a good level of protection.
The rockhopper transfer case offsets the large tyres and results in the ability to crawl over obstacles with ease and accuracy. (The low gears is the thing I will miss most about the Suzuki!)
Due to the nature of 4wding the body on this Suzuki has dents, and if you were fussy about looks, it could do with a tidy.
So, if you are looking for a vehicle to start offroading, and want to feel safe, or if you are an experienced driver and want a vehicle capable of taking you where you want to go (and get you home) then this is the Suzuki for you.
Selling as i have started a new suzuki project. Will sell trailer for $1200 extra - wof and rego - New 2 ton axles, 2 ton hubs, new springs, wheel bearings. Tilt, nice condition, tows well and is extremely usefull
