Mk II Toyota Electric Hub Over-ride

Post by oldblue »

For those that still want to retain their electric hubs but want a manual over-ride , for when they stop working ( and they will some day ) I have put togeather a conversion to do this. The end caps still need to be drilled out and a seal fitted.
Any questions just ask.

The Mk1 conversion replaces the motor with a dummy motor, usually it's when the carbon brush's have warn out so can be removed. The Mk11 is fitted onto a good motor that you want to retain as a working unit but want a manual over-ride just in case. You would have to make sure the carbon brush's are still OK.
Fitzy , if your here tomorrow night come to Dianne's 60th, give me a call if you can make it.
