Wheel issue

Post by southland_Feroza »

Hi On my 1990 feroza one of my wheels have been making a ANNOYING rumbling noise as i drive. It starts at about 50kph. I jacked the front right wheel up and noticed it had a bit of play in it (it wobled a bit). Any ideas what this could be or if its even the cause of my annoying noise???? :?

what tallsam said

Wheel bearing do tend to make a rumbling type noise (sometimes but not always, with a slight vibration coming through the steering)

HOWEVER!!! My 94 Feroza had a "rattle/clatter" in the Right hand front wheel from day one ... came in at slow speeds (5-15 kph) never did find out what it was, came to the conclusion it was missing some anti rattle springs in the front brakes as the front wheel bearings where fine.

Are front wheel bearings tough to change?
