Hi guys
Very new to this game with a recent purchase of a 3dr- 94Vit (stock). Was wondering if you could share your thoughts about lift kits and tire selections.

It's the 2nd car in the family and a mostly a city run-about. But I like to go away a couple of time in the year and throw dead things in the back (hunter). I planning to run two sets of rims, one of them road and the other set on some MT or AT.

Question: How lift much do I need to fit an average set of MT tires or even AT tires?

I guess without the lift I'm restricted tire choices.

I'm sure I'm not the only one with this thinking.

Cheers in advance.

Joe

A simple one-inch body-lift allows 30" tyres fit on the vitaras. That's a good general-purpose size for them as well, there's a huge selection of tyres to choose from in 30 x 9.5 x 15. 7" steel white-spokes are readily available in a zero offset, usually for around $100 each, and they give you the option of fitting bigger tyres if you want to head down that track a bit later on.

If you get A/Ts you will soon want M/Ts,don't go near the water
as your intake is too low.fit some breathers to the diffs (get hose from Bunnings, they sell it by the meter) couple of hose clips and do the gearbox when its out next (did mine when doing new clutch, don't think it would be easy to do while box is still in)gearbox has 2 breathers.Snorks are easy, make em out of just about anything as long as its sealed well!.made mine out of 90 bend pipe from muffler shop and suction hose-flexable and very strong!
