Rangie Radius Arm Mounts

Post by callum007 »

I'm coiling the truck, going to use Rangie arms at both ends..

just drew up some mounts for them, can i get an opinoin on how they look and will they work?? I measured the centre to centre of the bushes in the arms at 165mm does this sound correct?? Any experts??

and have had some of these cut too, just need to bend them..

Anyone know the pin spacing on rangie arms.. im guessing most arms are different, so arms are generally model specific?

Am unsure of Rangie Arms but on my Land Rover 110 the radius arm axle mount bolts are approx 138mm centre to centre, and approx 760mm from Chassis mount plate to the centre of the rear bolt. The length from the centre of the rear bolt to the very end of the radius arm is approx 830mm. All measurements were on a radius arm mounted under a dripping wet truck so are approximate only. If these measurements are close to what you require 110s may be another source of parts for you.

loose the front bolt on the LH front arm and the rear bolt on the LH rear arm. Will help flex, and shouldnt give any issues since yours is a trailer toy. Whether you redo the brackets you have designed to exclude those bolt holes? If your getting 4 made identical may as well get them all done the same

Bighorn ones are different man, they connect to the housing on only one point per arm, as they have 3 arms (+ panhard) holding the axle in place whereas the radius arms only have 2 (+ panhard).

Try a wreckers for Front 80 series cruiser or Front or rear Prado, front Safari, rear Pajero, Front Rangie and any coiled LR, Rear Late model Disco, coiled Zuk's (Not Vitara's).
Thats all I can think of now that are Radius arm'd.
