stick with anything made in japan or gremany if you want to get fussy.
the chinese and taiwanese stuff is not as bad as you think, a wheel bearing is quite a slow rotational application so the grease will be as important as the bearing itself.
go for a reputable brand and make sure its waterproof ( marine bearing grease is what i use ) as 4x4`s are subject to different conditions to a normal car

nsk, skf, timkin are all good brands, use the grease that tristanp is talking about or that heavy dutie special stuff that mobil makes, its kinda like cv grease and repells water really good.
