Nissan Safari Roof Rack Wanted

Hi Guys,

I'm looking for a roof rack for my LR 90. I think I can make one like the one below fit, I think the rack I'm looking for will be off a Jap import Safari. If you have one in your shed that you want to get rid of I would be keen to discuss. Of course it would be easier if it's in the south Island. If you have or know of something flick me a pm.

May be missing something- but i cannot see how that roof rack pictured could clamp itself effectively to the channel.

Usually those hooks on the side have one bolt to pull the hook inwards with a slotted hole and one bolt to pull the hook upwards to actually clamp on.

I've been looking at that but I think an aluminium one like the one in the pic will work best. I don't really want a basket so I figured I''d remove the top tube and just have a low profile flat roof rack, trying to keep the 90 as low as possible.

Hahaha, yeah, cheers Flyingbrick. Unfortunately none of them are what I'm after. I'm looking for a tube framed basket type rack like in the pic.
