Dontchya just hate waiting for parts to arrive?????? Could be uder the waka now playing with stuff but still waiting for body lift and front track bar to arrive from Aus.
Hopefully everything will be here during the week and i can attack it all next weekend.
Tuesday its going into the engineers who are going to shape up the steel fenders for me, and while its there theyre going to cut out the skid plate too. Ill just have to stitch the fenders together, paint them, and wire the new indicator in and theyll be on. Hopefully the body lift and skid plate all go on together well, ill still need to fashion some motor mount lifts too, but live plenty of 50 x 25mm box here to do that with.
Im assuming that i wont have to worry about the transfer case shift linkage as the tansmission and transfer case should be getting lifted around the same height as the body.... should be.... who knows what is likely to happen once its begun??!!

Stacked it into a bank last sunday and wiped out one fender and dinged up the other one a bit too. So rather than buying new ones, im getting some steel tube fenders bent up for me on Tuesday.
Aside from that i finally got around to getting an adjustable front track bar from Wooders to correct my front diff alignment (i removed the rubbish procomp drop bracket some time ago and have been running about with the stock bar in).
With that ive got a bodylift coming to go with the hi clearance tranny plate that will be ready to fit on Wednsday (fingers crossed).
I know that ive said it before.... but once these bits and bobs have been done, it will be the end of the mods. A line has to be drawn somewhere.......
Well maybe after the fuel tank has been tucked up too and a skid plate made for that too.....
Then the line will be drawn.......
Maybeeeeeeeee

Are you talking about the whole fender? Or just replacing the plastic fender extensions? Would be interested in your design of the tummy tuck. Already got most of the stuff on to make that work, been dreading paying freight to get it in from overseas.

The tummy tuck is just a simple plate cut to shape with 5mm plate. Ill try it just sitting flush on the chassis, and if it works all well and good. If that makes it sit too high though, i have some 50x25 and 25x25 box section to add to it to drop it down. Some say it will sit flush, others tell me i dont have a show... we will see.
One version:

As for the flatfenders, the verticle plane of the fender will stay, and the majority of the horizontal will be cut, just leaving the original fender tracking along the bonnet outline and around the latch. Bit hard to explain how it is hoped it will end up, but a plan is in place.
After straightening it......

Yeah man, sure have. Did that July last year. The 33's will be staying on, cant afford to upgrade the lockers to accommodate the ratio change needed for the 35's. (bought Bryans old ones off him) Actually, cant afford anything anymore.
Parts arrived today, front track bar is in. Pulling out the motor mounts tomorrow to sort the lift on them (making the blocks out of 50mm x 25mm box) and will pop the body lift in on the weekend probably. The tummy tuck will still be a few weeks away, and prob not before Pureora...... all in good time.
Little birdie tells me that we'll be sharing a drink at Pureora on Queens Birthday.

Yes, I am at work today, Just been getting everything sent to the office rather than home so as not to run the risk of little fingers grabbing packages they don't own.
