sighted in the savage at petes the other day, 65m with a slight right to left breeze.

5 shot group, would have been primo if i haddnt pulled the last shot low right

still to get it out to a decent distance but i think its pretty close

Awesome!
The Savage is a beautiful gun- cant remember exactly but IIRC it was out of my price range when i got the Marlin.
Pretty sure they have the adjustable trigger?

Lucky bastard. My marlin shot great at first but would pull badly as the trigger was so heavy. Had Vern in TA fix that for me and now its looooverly.
If you ever want someone to shoot cans with you flick me a PM

thats the plan yea, might have to glass bed it yet, we shall see once i have done some true testing with it.
my plan is to be able to shoot the same group as above minus the pulled shot at 100m i doubt the ammo or myself could do better than that. but that would be the eyeball of a hare that just got drilled so would be satisfactory

for sure dude, yea has the ACU trigger, takes a bit of getting used to and have yet to adjust the pull to what i want but have only just sighted in really so still a lot of tuning to be done yet
