95 Terrano ball joint boot

Post by kiwipete »

Hi all, while I was giving the old girl a dose of oil and grease, I noticed one of the boots on the drivers side outer ball joint has a tiny split in it. Does anyone know where I can get a replacement boot from please?
Ok people, move along. Nothing to see here. Thank you, move along.

Hey

Might be easier to buy the whole joint, from memory they aint that expencive, and then keep that ripped joint for a spare.

If you are going to replace the hole joint get the ones frm BNT. I used repco ones once and had to replace both for the next wof (6mths) got BNT ones and last 4 WOFS then sold terrano. They are a common failure apparently.
Toy - Zuk chassis tub, hilux 4.88 axles and transfer, Nissan CA18DE motor and auto trans, sc12 supercharger, 32 10'5 simex, twin motor 8274 custom freespool. Well the parts are all there in various corners of the shed

Its been a couple of years since I did the last one but I think they where about mid $30s. Pretty sure they where cheaper than the Ripco ones.
