Hi

Post by marmel »

Hi everyone.

I live in the deep south. I have just purchased a 1990 Terrano 27DT with a buggered 5 speed in it.

Luckily my father-in-law has a hoist in his shed!

I'm currently looking for a second hand box although I will strip the other one down first to see what is what.

I have owned 3 Terrano's prior to this and a Disco and a Surf.

I haven't done a lot of organised 4wd trips and mainly use mine for carting trailers around and driving around the in-laws farm and the beach.

I hope to get into the local club and do a few trips once I have got my Terrano sorted.

I must say I have belonged to the overseas based Nissan forums and they have a wealth of info onthem but it's nice to belong to a forum where everyone knows what a Terrano is!

Welcome, marmel, Terranos are GOOD things, I can raid bits off them to fit the front of my truck, like brakes, wheel brgs free wheeling hub parts.....

What part of the deep south, we have a few members down there, a bunch in CHCH and yes, this ORE place has a huge store of readily available info and advice in it. Thank heavens
