steering dampner

now that i have my bigger wheels on the (1991) 4runner i think it could do with a better steering dampner any body got any info as what sort i should get? what sort of price i am looking at?

Plenty of brands to choose from. went with an ARB one, noticed a considerable difference over rocks and rutted ground. Took the "lightness" out of the steering.

cheers al. will a new standard spec one of a good brand do or should i got for heavy duty stiffer etc.

i know someone with a ifs old man emu stabilizer thats not getn used :scratch: i think hes still got it :wink:

hi pete yes my cousin in wgtn has one from a surf like youres(old man emu ,he paid $140.00 for it)its only done about 10000ks he has no use for it now ,he said $70 and its youres :oops: :oops:



note,he will check tonight but seems to think hes missing a bolt for one end of the stabilizer :roll: but i will confirm tomorrow pete :D

Am using the heavy duty OME steering stabiliser myself - can thoroughly recommend the same; world of difference.

hey eatenfuller im keen to buy the stabilizer. did u find out bout the bolt? would do the standard rubbers and bolts not fit?
