hey guys, my name's Phil and I'm from Hamilton. Am quite heavily into Mitsubishis and just picked up probably one of Mitsubishi's least ideal 4WD machine, a '91 Delica Exceed Van - but it's a 4WD none the less.

Image

also have a couple of other Mitsis including a '91 VR-4 and a 1980 Galant-Eterna coupe undergoing a V6 MIVEC twin turbo conversion.

thanks to Wayne (vvega) and Glen (NJV6) for bringing this forum to my attention.

those L300 vans actually look quite good when lifted a bit and fitted with some larger tyres

hey phil :-D

Its pretty cool how many people are moving over to this sport from road orientated stuff.

Flick me a message on MSN if you wanna come up thompsons with some friends and I in about 2 weekends time (yet to be confirmed). We are all relative novices and don't have mega set up trucks like wayne and many of the others here . so wont have to go through anything too damaging

Got AT's on it?

we could always put bald skinny road tyres on and have some fun in the clay

assuming the truck is still in one piece after this weekends W/C

haha it is a Mitsubishi so you can count on something breaking, that's for sure!

unsure what tyres it has on it at the mo, I picked it up last night and really haven't had the chance to give it a good going over. One of the front tyres is bald and the other front tyre is borderline, while the rear tyres are in decent condition - but I'm keen to find some wider alloys and fit different tyres to it. the exhaust is broken too so I need to sort that out before taking it back in for a WOF which probably wont be for a few weeks yet - am busy sorting out this dodgy transmission in my Galant.. Mitsubishis eh..
