I know I am a Nissan owner and that I am crossing the line coming in here but I need some help

The wife has blown her rear diff in here Jeep Asia Rocksta and I have had a few problems getting a new ring and pinion

, I have been in contact with Kia motors in Korea who made them and after a bit of backwards and forwards I found a new ring and pinion

but its is the last one they have and they want $2000 + freight + GST for it

so I was toying with the idea of putting Hilux axles under it until Rick from 4wd accessories came up with anthor idea which is to put a Blzzard axle under it as it is narrower and I would only have to replace the rear

so I need to know a few things
1) How wide is the axle hub to hub.
2) Is the diff pumkin offset if so which side.
3) How far apart are the spring perches.
4) Doses it come with a 4.33 ratio diff.
If anyone could help I would be greatful as I had to put the road tyres back on mine so the misses could do the shopping

and man it looks stupid with 31" tyres on it

so if I get her shopping cart back up and running my truck can go back to normal

How about grafting a Hilux head into the existing housing? Rick will know what to check to see if it will work, mainly the distance from axle centre line to the mounting face, and of course spline count on the axles. Dunno about these trucks at all, but it might be worth a look

I happen to have a Blizzard rear diff unit here but too dark to go out and measure anything.
2) Offset to the drivers side.
4) All the info I've found points to them having a 3.36 ratio.

Hilux/prado diffs would be better than rocky/rugger/blizzard ones as they are easier to find and you can get off the shelf bits for them ie difflocks......
What about fitting Jeep axles to your "Jeep" ?

I would but it is a silsbury (SPELLING

) diff housing so its a pain in the arse

from what we have found out its a copy of the dana 27 diff

so we are waiting on the specs of the dana 27 ring and pinion as an option but the axle and pinion splines were changed from imperial to metric or vise versa so if thats the only problem we will get one of those

Hilux axles are 80mm wider on either side

and I would have to change the spring perches and the rims and get it certed
I am looking for an easy fix ( if there is such a thing

)
Jeep axles are to wide and XJ would not approve

Easy fix is to just dump it on your front lawn and buy a proper jeep
Seriously......can you not get the hilux diffs cut down to fit?, chances are you will need to get another type of diff in it certified anyway?
What about the diffs out of a Kia Sportage (they may be similar as your "Jeep" seemed to evolve into one of these...and they have Mazda parts in them) or one of those weird ssangyong thingys? (plenty of those ugly musso thingys around cheap, could also PM Stinky and see what Korando bits he has stashed hidden away from Taz...these may be similar).
I Suggested Hilux as there are plenty of parts when it breaks again in the potholes in the supermarket carpark...
