hilux handbrake Q?

my handbrake cable has snapped off right at the fire wall..
how do i fix this?
figuring i need a new cable so do i get 1 off another truck or can you buy them off the shelf?
is it a simple job

Can get them from toyota, will take a couple of weeks cause they gotta make them and send them from japan. That's when i went a couple of months ago cause mine is really badly stretched. told me $65

sweet cheers, its probably worth getting a new 1, just done rear shoes and cylinders so a new cable would help all to work good
