TD27 Auto g/box repair

Hi guys, I'm looking at a modded Auto Terrano D21 TD27 but it's slipping quite badly in drive.
What would be the best option?:
To replace the drive gear in the box?
Fit a reconditioned box in it's place?
And does anyone recommend a place to do this or source the parts in Auckland?

i can give u a stuffed 5 speed for repair if you want it im about to pull mine n put an auto in it im tired of replaceing them.

When was the oil last changed/level checked? That would be my start. The drive packs and valve bodies are pretty strong, nissan use them from silvias, 300zx terrano and with a couple of extra clutch packs in them in the patrol and 300zx twin turbo.
