is a 3y carb the same as a 4y carb ?

ive got a new 4y to put in the van and it has no carb ive got one of a 3y just thinking it might be a bit small in the v lines and throats

does anyone know if they work ?

theres a nice 4y webber carb on ebay buts its $1000+ :shock:
