stalling pajero swb please help

hey my pajero swb 3.5L is stalling threw puddles of water what could it be ?
check eng lite and oil light come on wen going threw puddles of whater what could be the problem?

please help

change the leads. old leads let water in sometimes. even up as high as they are.
