I had the misfortune to flatten the battery on my truck. Thinking that I was all prepared for such an emergency I tried to jump start from my Corolla. No luck. This could have some thing to with the Corolla battery being the same sixe as a AAA battery.

Figured out that both batteries may be drained.

Lesson learnt: if both batteries are flat one set of jumper leads arnt gonna cut it.

Oh, heres a thought. Could I jump it from one battery to the other, without the use of a donar vehicle. When I tried to work it out I get dizzy and my head hurts

An yes, my mechanic knowledge is limited

A jump pack is on the shopping list, once I convince the wife that it more important than eating, she needs to burn off a few kilo's anyway

for 24v you will need 2 of those jump start packs
the 1st one black to earth on your rig, red to the black on the 2nd one, red on the 2nd one to the positive terminal (usually on the drivers side)on the battery that the lead to the starter motor comes off

ive charged up one battery at a time with my mazda(12v), disconnect both batterys, give them 15 min each hooked up to a running car and they should work ok

As only one power pack is in the budget, I will get one and my jumper leads
