The annual safari will be held on Saturday 21st November.

More details later but be assured it will be High--Bloody High and to get High its Steep--Bloody Steep.

Starting point is about 3 1/2 hours from Chch and very nice accommodation is available at a number of Geraldine Motels. Andora Motel offers a double for around $90.00 a night. (ph 03 6938217) There is also the Motor Camp with cabins and camping.
Fairlie is also near the start and has lots of accommodation.

The Safari is supported by the South Canterbury 4WD Club

This is a proper bastard but I have to cancel this Event. The tracks were vertually washed away in a huge amount of rain in July. We were hoping that the snow would have cleared enough for the property owner to spend time remaking tracks. Some parts will need lots of blasting and many hours work to fix. He has now advised that there wont be enough time to do the job as there is still snow with some drifts several meters deep.

I hope I can run this next year.
