whats the best option ....
ive been down on power for a little while now and suzuki1k made the assumption maybe i had stuffed compression rings ....
decided to finally check today .....seems i have an awefull amount of blow by from the oil filler cap and also the lil tube underneath
ive made the call that thi is obviously hitting zuks assumption on the head ...
now .....
which is the best possible idea ..
rebuild the engine i have now ?
or pull it out plonk another dirty ol 3b in there again ?
its a 24volt jobbie and well im short on coin but have found a few cheapies on trademe ranging from around 500 upwards
has anyone got any in the shed ?
a rebuild is a little out of my league possibly .. but im keen to try
ideas are needed here.... also what other motors can i just drop in ?

Its a bit of a gamble with a secondhand motor of that vintage coz they've all done a few hundred thousand km's

Re: 3b cruiser motor ...
a 13bt will fit straight in but they are quite expensive if you can find one.a rebuild and then adding a turbo to the 3b could be an option that way you could do it a bit at a time as you wallet allows, and at the end of the day you will know your motor
on my 3rd POS 70 cruiser still havent learnt
