Want to go on a trip this weekend and was wondering if anyone else was keen. am keen on waipara or ashley river just want to know if anyone else is keen and what day ud like to go on

this weekend is the 18/19th or are you meaning next weekend?? im keen to have a look at somewhere close to town maybe waimak or worsleys, my motor is on the blink so don't want to have to travel too far.
toymota thats stock standard.

I might be in on this if my truck is repaired buy then.
Sold my 1985, BJ74 MWB Landcruiser, rear locker, 33" MTs, snorkel, PTO winch, solid bars all round, spotties, AM CB etc.
Now just a 1994, 1kz Surf, pretty standard.

yes i mean next weekend. worsleys will only take half an hour if that and the waimak gets old after youve been through it a few times. im keen for a day long trip (preferably sunday for me) up ashley or waipara river. let me know if you want to join as me and a mate are keen to get our trucks dirty

when were you last up worsleys if you reckon it will only take half and hour??? :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: either that or you must have a really mean truck!!!


but yea worsleys is just an afternoon trip at the moment, will see if a new motor has shown up or not

no mud up there, its a nice easy quite drive up the waipara

but ill have to wait to next week and see if were in

Could be a starter but not keen on much river work, just trails. Don't have a snorkel.

Is that the one you tramp beside on the st andrews hut loop? Been a few years since I've been up around there so I may be talking about something completely different haha.

Are you doing a trail beside the river or going up the bed and doing lots of crossings?

much water there? just got the new truck running but it will be a week or two before i build a snorkel for it. Needs a good test run before anything to serious.

was up there last week. you won't need a snorkel and is a good drive no snow there moment though.

I'm camping near Mt white on saturday then going up on sunday. If anyone wants to come, let me know and I'll can meet you at the mt white bridge at 10am.
On the radio before apparently Porters and Arthurs are closed from snow, so hopefully there may be a good layer :D
